I am a bad host

So I have my ports open but I seem to almost always lag with other players while I am the host. I have been told that some people just don't ping well to my computer but it seems like the lag is with people who live on the other side of the world from. So I am wondering if this is the problem and is there a way I can fix it?

if you play with people all over the world, you are destined to have lagg. That's not on your end.
