how does this game still have an active community after over 20 years

this game first released in like 2001, its crazy to see people still playing to this day. also, i have seen this style of forum on another site. anyways, time to actually introduce myself, i am Donyas, and i like playing games, and i LOVED Empire Earth, i used to play it all the time. until i couldnt, then a couple years later i decided i wanted to play again, and then i found my way here.

I'm also new here but not new to EE, just new to MP. I guess the reason is because we can't let go of it.
And yeah this forum isn't active at all. Just as expected from an almost forgotten 23 year old game.
