Map Makers Wanted!
The Save-EE Epic Multiplayer Campaign Team is looking for people who are able to help make maps for our current project, the barbarian invasions of the Roman Empire. We will be needing people who are good at making maps and terrains and stuff. If anyone is willing please let us know here.

Re: Map Makers Wanted!
Right. Joosh made it actually. But if y'all got any questions you may ask p10x.
Here's kind of an outline of the geographical terrain for the map. The battle was historically fought between the hills and forest.
When we start adding buildings and barbarians will have villages to the east of the river. And the Roman town/fortress will be to the west towards the lower end of the map.
We're going to need to find ways to motivate the barbarian players to cross the river and also reasons for the Romans to live their city in order to encourage the historical battlefield to be the probable outcome. In other words we need a story line. Lightness I assume you're good with that kind of thing right?

So you want me to make a map that looks somewhat like that picture? What about the size?

Re: Map Makers Wanted!
I was thinking around 200 x 200 tiles.
The map is supposed to represent the battlefield for the Battle of Argentoratum between the Alemanni and the Roman Empire. So we kind of outlined the general terrain on the map. The water is the Rhine River. And the area is surrounded by hills and forest.
So if you're interested let me know and I'll send you the template. We would certainly welcome another player to help with this.

Re: Map Makers Wanted!
Excellent, thank you for showing your interest. I'll give you access to the group's private section, there you will see we have a discussion going on about the first scenario. You can download the file for that scenario and use that file to make the map. There is a very rough outline that should probably be redone so if you have any questions let me know and we can talk more about it there.
The first scenario is to be about the Battle of Argentoratum in 357 so it may also help if you look up some pictures of the battlefield because everything in the first scenario will be centered around that battlefield.

Yeah my MS Paint style likes to promote the classic and archaic.
On a side note, the Epic Multiplayer Campaign is officially postponed until summer. May ideas and time be plentiful for the creation of the first of many scenarios!
