and we believe in the King james version, which is the most correct version of the bible<--i'll explain the bible part if needed.
Furthest from the truth, it is the most corrupted version due to it being incomplete as some of the most valuable information was left out. I have provided a link which includes some of the omitted, very important information which was excluded for a reason. If you decide to actually view this information , you can see the vast differences between what is presented in King James, and the actual historical and significant writings handed down over time. Are you letting the Church control what you should be thinking about instead of learning through life experience of trial and error ?
Only about 10 % of what is known was published in King James, ask yourself why ?

Herik, here's the list from the bible:
http://www.lds.org/scriptures/ot/ex/34?lang=eng

And "Thou shalt not bseethe a kid in his mother’s milk" is still in there, because it's an extremely important commandment apparently. Certainly worthy of replacing the commandment about coveting, right? Just like celebrating the festival of the weeks is far more important than not murdering other people.

Hold on, about coveting, isn't that pretty much the entire basis of a capitalist economy? Which means, logically, that capitalism must be bad if we accept the premise that the commandment against coveting is right... hmm...

Wait, there are two lists? Hmm. Perhaps that was my point (other than to see how easily I could derail this thread, which it turns out, was even easier than expected).

Please note that the commandments in Exodus 34 are the only ones that are referenced, by the bible, as being the 10 commandments. The first set has no such explicit reference.

Wait... Maybe there are three lists just within whatever version of the bible you want to use...

Also please note that the list of 10 commandments between Exodus 20 and Deuteronomy 5 don't even match up perfectly.

/permanent thread derail
Result: Success

I wanted to provide some final information for anyone who may seriously consider utilizing Cannabis oil for treatment of cancer. Please be aware that there are many people from around the world that are utilizing Marijuana and it's compunds not only to cure cancers, but for an amazing spectrum of beneficial medicinal purposes. I certainly am not making any of this up, they are indeed facts look for yourself.http://www.google.ca/#hl=en&tbo=d&sclie ... 8&bih=1019
Image

A few final quick facts for those who are completely unaware.

1. Cannabis must be in it's oil form or singular compound state to be administered for medicinal purpose and to gain maximum benefit.
2. Smoking marijuana does not cure cancer but does provide a wide array of psychotropic and arthroscopic benefits including relief from general malaise.
3. The only marijuana-based medication available by prescription in the United States is called Dronabinol or Marinol, which is administered in pill form.
4. There are only three ways to ingest Cannabis oil for medical treatment ;
a) Inhaled vapor.
b) Topical application of the oil on the skin.
c) Eating or drinking it.

How to make Cannabis oil-

Marijuana is not only useful in treating cancer patients. It has also been shown to help people with glaucoma, AIDS, neurological disorders, muscle spasticity, seizure disorders, and chronic pain. This evidence alone shows that it cannot honestly be classified as a Schedule I drug. It definitely does have some therapeutic value. Instead of blindly forbidding the use of marijuana in the United States, the government could look at how its use, with a doctor’s prescription, can benefit many members of society. This way, doctors and patients could make educated choices about the right medications to use in their treatment, without legal restrictions, and patients would be able to get the best possible medication; however, legalizing marijuana, even only for medicinal uses, would be hard to do in this country mainly because of the widely held belief that marijuana is a gateway drug to harsher and more dangerous substances. If oncologists would stress the upside of legalizing marijuana for their patient, that would add legitimacy to the argument. Testimonials by cancer patients what would illustrate the relief they would gain by smoking marijuana would also have impact. A public awareness campaign including both print and television media would also be beneficial. The case would have to be made to those who are not presently suffering the effects of chemotherapy, as well as to those who are. This case should be easy to make because no one is immune from cancer and most everyone is afraid of the pain and sickness associated with the disease and its treatment, or knows someone who is. The campaign to legalize marijuana for medicinal purposes and the eventual legalization of marijuana for these purposes would greatly benefit a large number of people who are currently suffering from this disease, and people who may develop this disease in the future.

for once you make a good point ralf. Tho I'd rather have population control in number of births than a high death rate. Watched a documentary on cannabis today, just cause it is infact an interesting topic. They came to somewhat same conclusion as was my previous belief. Cannabis has effective medical benefits, target-treatment (idk what u call this in english tbh) of cancer cells included (note that it's not only compounds in cannabis that can do this, but other "med-drugs" aswell). But It also showed how consumption in early life can impact your memory the rest of your life. And it relatively increases risk of schizophrenia by up to 600%. As well as a few other mental illnesses. (Note that it can also be used to treat these illnesses, because cannabis has both inducing toxins and inhibiting toxins, if that makes sense to u). You can actually grow your weed plants to contain more of the inhibiting toxins, tho thats not what gets you high, and therefore it's usually not grown this way for this purpose. And smoking in itself is of course unhealthy aswell.

Their most surprising conclusion was infact that you often end up wasting your life with this sitting around in your sofa all day smoking weed, which you get addicted to. And they concluded this is probably the most damaging aspect of the drug.

dis·cern·ment (d-sûrnmnt, -zûrn-)
n.
1. The act or process of exhibiting keen insight and good judgment.
2. Keenness of insight and judgment

Reading, listening and understanding peoples perspective are key in determining if the source seems credible or not. If a person can draw on personal life experience and insight along with supporting evidence and references when offering a topic for considerations, it becomes much more credible and therefore valuable if it resonates within you. If you use as your source of knowledge mere textbook or scientific data, raw emotion or someone else's opinion you are limiting your scope of argument because there is no personal experience to draw on because it just isn't there for whatever reason, age, experience, education, location etc.
Their most surprising conclusion was infact that you often end up wasting your life with this sitting around in your sofa all day smoking weed, which you get addicted to. And they concluded this is probably the most damaging aspect of the drug.
There is no evidence that Marijuana is physically addictive, if you claim to have some I would certainly like to view it. What are the alternatives to using Marijuana and it's compunds ? Pharmaceuticals ? lol talk about addiction
(oxy contin, percoset, morphine etc) or how about chemotherapy as a solution to cancer ?
What a joke, burn it all and hope we kill the cancer.....That's supposed to be medical logic ?

I along with millions of other Human beings utilize this medicine for life on planet Earth. My personal testimony and experience is in direct conflict with the demonization proponent initiated by Big Pharma , Government and unconscious minds.

This is a prime example of the effectiveness of the brainwashing techniques implemented since the 1920's, man you are living in the past "taking other peoples word for it" without fully understanding all the variants. You say "their most surprising conclusion" therefore handing over your conclusion to the thinking process of others ? I ask you this Captain Nemo, have you ever ingested Cannabis in any way, shape or form ? My Spidey sense is telling me no. Nemo, I think you would benefit from smoking Marijuana as it tends to open the mind and allow you to escape the false paradigms to whit you have invested your life into. I am not saying that in a negative way, I am saying it because there is much more to learn about truth for us all.
Here is how I see it, we all have a personal firewall in our brains, it's called the pre-frontal cortex.
Let's agree that's it's programmable over and above the base, pre loaded functions within our DNA
a) Reptilian core b) Limbic c) neo cortex
So, who programs the remainder ?
1. Parents
2. Family
3. School
4. Religious/Spiritual leaders
5. Media
6. Authority figures
7. The Cosmos
8. Life experience.
9. The unknown

The only thing that can really be trusted here is #7, #8 , and #9 although I am not naive enough to think that this is actually how things work, on the contrary. Growth, learning and working hard to understand the truths of this life are my goal and I go about it with -Peace-Love-Joy-Thank You-

I am pro human. Go start a post On the United Nation Agenda 21 or Eugenics somewhere else as you seem to agree with this type of ideology. And for your consideration, the current population on this Earth could be contained within the state of Texas quite easily.
I will do the math for you. Using the square milage you gave for Texas: 1 square mile = 5280 x 5280 square feet = 27,878,400 square feet. So 268,581 square miles = 7,487,608,550,400. For simplicity say 7.5 x 10^12. That divided by 7 x 10^9 is indeed over 1000 square feet per person. So if we made one giant one-story compound over Texas, land, water, and all, we would each get a 1,000 square foot unit.

No not at all. The credibility is determined by the methods used for the research. Is it case-control, Cohort or something else? How many attended? Bias? Animal or human study? Reproducibility?

Personal experience makes it subjective and therefore also invalid as to generalizing.

Nice try. But no, all my arguments are not invalid because I don't get high all the time. Tho I have gotten high sometimes... but only rarely.

Correct, because it isn't. But it's psychologically addictive, and there's plenty proof of that.

Marijuana is merely 1 drug in a wide range of drugs that can do this targeted therapy which you label "hunts down cancer cells".
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Targeted_therapy
Enlighten yourself please.

It only works if the specific cancer cell responds to the drug. Marijuana wont have effect on all types of cancers. As the other drugs wont either. Surgical operation is still probably the most common way to get rid of cancer I think lol.

Free me from your stupidity please. I was presenting their conclusing as THEIR conclusion and not my own. Saying Im brainwashed seems a bit harsh just based on the fact I presented a documentary's findings. I found it interesting, thats it. Yes I have ingested cannabis, and no it didn't do me any good. Nor does it do me any good to get drunk every weekend, but Im aware of that, and make a conscious choice to do it anyway.

To be honest your every post is making a pretty strong case that this shit fucks you up. Not even gonna comment on how your being "okay" is a proof cannabis has no negative effects.

Not sure how big pharma have any sort of opinion on marijuana laws?

But my personal opinion: I don't see a legitimate reason why marijuana is banned when smoking and alcohol is allowed. An average smoker in Denmark cost the society an extra $5000 on average every year. If you want to level this out with taxing cigarets, a pack of smokes should then cost in excess of $40. So please do raise the taxes on cigarets so it's not the society paying for your smoking. Meh couldn't help giving my 2 cents on smoking lol.

So is smurfing, chocolate, gambling and sex along with Pc gaming, X-box , Ps3 and masterbation.
There's plenty proof of that too. Whats the significance ? It's kinda irrelevant wouldn't you agree ?

I do not refer to scientific study or research here sir, I refer to basic methods of Inquiry and rationale which are mandatory when considering any information, scientific or otherwise.

Interesting statement, please provide details for consideration, understanding and debate or else this fall's into the category of vitriol.

Anyway, I now have hard core PROOF that compounds found in Marijuana kill cancer cells.
I got a e-mail from _[eC]_DavE_ who claims that after inhaling some Cannabis oil through a vaporizer, has caused a complete remission of his cancer. The facts are way too overwhelming to ignore. Free Hemp for the world !!!
