Yeah, I figured that's what happened. Though I did worry about an overdose too. It doesn't surprise me law enforcement was tracking his phone and internet activity so closely either.

I recall him mentioning his dad only had to serve about two years for an involuntary manslaughter charge. By all accounts Seizmic's drug dealing really only brought harm to himself (resulted in a severe heroin addiction) and he'll have to serve at least 5-6 years.

Seizmic, if you ever read this, I hope you get through this and find a place in the world where you feel at home. Somewhere you know you belong, where you'll get to see better days and enjoy life again. Remember that those people in the comments of that news article can snicker and denigrate you only because they don't know you. If they knew your resolve and sense of honor, they'd know your predicament was a product of circumstance and not an indictment of your character.

I (his girlfriend) read this over the phone to him and this is his reply.

Thank you for your kind words and I really appreciate the message as it’s boosted my spirits. Tomorrow marks me doing one year on the dot. As long as I behave from now on I should be released in 3 years 6 months. Technically I’m eligible for open prison at the end of this year but realistically I won’t get it until the end of next year considering that I’ve already had a few fights on the race of peace. I’ve been questioned by counter-terrorism for my right wing beliefs lol. Please continue to stay in touch either through replying here or on Skype. My missus has access to my Skype. All the best mate, hope life is going good for you. PS due to COVID-19 almost all my time in prison has been in my cell, we only get 30 minutes out of our cell every day. I’ve got an Xbox 360 and Dark Souls 1and 2 are amazing lol.

That saddens me to hear. It seems like a lifetime ago we were just teenagers (kids really) and despised each other. I spent many hours arguing with you over a video game, oh how life was much simpler then. As we get older we start to realize what the important things in life are. While you were very much a "rival" in my younger years. I very much hope you are getting through. As I saw Icestorm put below, better times do await you. I sincerely hope you get through this time in your life and come our stronger because of it. Think back to some of our "epic" battles over the years and the laughs at "screaming" at each other with caps locks on.

Best Wishes
"Pyro"

Hello Pyro. I read Seizmic your reply and he said he would give anything to go back to the days you mentioned. You were his greatest 1v1 rival and that if it wasn’t for you he’d never become as good as he did. Seizmic sends you all his love and will definitely see you all online in 3.5 years.

I would like to echo what Pyro said.

I like to think I've lived a pretty good life, but in many ways my happiest times were the camaraderie gaming with you folks.

I miss those simpler times too.

Hope you can find patience, happiness, and peace bro.

Hey Seizmic,

Hope it's not so shitty in there. Hope you're able to get reduced-time for good behavior, but I know how some shit is simply unavoidable. Some people are just wack. So I really do wish you luck. I always enjoyed, sometimes relished, sometimes feared, when you would come online the lobby. If it was a 7/8 game, and my team was full but not looking so great, I'd think "oh fuck, now Seizmic will be my o-wing and I maybe can't defend against his rush".

Godspeed

Seizmic,

Stay strong buddy. So many good times through the years.

When we all mic'ed up and finally chatted during games, early-mid 2008, I forgot who had a voice like a gay pornstar?

When I posted (foolishly) a photo of myself to the old forum, your reaction was gold. "LOL you look like a paki" LOL.

I vaguely remember us joking that Witchking would be your b**** in prison should you ever get locked up - oh the foreshadowing...

What I would do to read some of the old scripts from all of our chats pre 2009.

Icestorm, let's plan a "Welcome home, Seizmic" party once the lad is out.

Hang in there buddy. We all miss your humor and energetic approach to life.

I check these boards from time to time, I'm not sure why exactly. It's more of a curiosity at this point, I guess. With "real life" in full swing, I don't have the time or desire at this point to get everyone back together for one last game.

Not sure how Seizmic's doing, I think his girlfriend sent me an update on his Skype back in 2020ish. I lost my login info a couple years ago when I migrated to a new pc so I don't know if that continued. I expect he'll post here when he's out.
