Can't log into EEC

In the top left corner of my game it says that I am running v2.00.2539

When I try to create a user name and log in it says that I am running an outdated version and need to patch the game. I click "OK" and that exits the game and sends me to windows, where I get this message.



After clicking "Exit" and relaunching the game I get the same shit and I am stuck in some weird loop. I either need to install a patch manually or find a way to remove a false error message. Can someone help me with this?

Ehm open zzWONVersion (the cfg file inside EE folder)

Should say:

Version: 2.0.0.4


If not, maybe try manually changing to that. I got no clue if this will help or make it worse though.

Did you try full reinstall?

uninstall -> ccleaner -> remove bugged registry shit -> install EE 1.0 -> run patches -> go.

You should be alright if you just try to download the NeoEE patch again and install/repair. Manually changing zzWONVersion.cfg will allow you to login again, but your EE version won't match if you got an older version of the NeoEE patch.

I tried uninstalling and got this error. I got it for both EEC and AoC. Does anyone know what this means?

Does your version say v2.00.2949?

If so open WONlobby.cfg in EE folder and change CDKeyCheck to false.

CDKeyCheck: false // was false

I had this problem too, and this fixed it.
