i assume the hero already exists? If so you can make a condition that if hero doesnt exist (i think "not in LOS of object: hero" works, not quite sure.)
im gonna test something right now and give you the result.

View that topic for extremely important information about multiplayer scenario's. (if you don't have a template, you won't be able to play multiplayer.)

(it will download the .scn file, you have to paste it in your Sierra/Empire Earth/Data/Scenarios folder.
See how I used the triggers, and implement them in your own scenario. (i've used this tank as example, obviously you're going to use the hero of choice.)
