Which is stupid, because AoC clearly is. Playing EEC shouldn't even be an option anymore.

there's no such thing as 'aoc is better' or 'eec is better'.
Fact is, both games are enjoyable in different ways.

Mod TL aoc can be a very nice boom war where as mod tl eec can be a nice rush - and eventually a boom war.

Mid SH aoc will have many great wars pushing back and forth for hours, Mid SH EEC will also have that, except games are generally faster due no expandsionism & medium map. Trust me, you can still use different strategies than default swords/cav, if you know how to. (same story for aoc IF YOU KNOW HOW TO.) Exception: civ powers such as flaming arrows, fanatism, pathfinding etc.

Liga simply cannot be enjoyed on aoc since the civilizations are unbalanced. But it can be enjoyed in eec ;).

Pretty much any set can be nice and played in different ways when you compare EEC to AOC but that doesn't mean AOC is better or EEC is better, it's just a personal preference for a or multiple set(s).

Besides, "Playing EEC shouldn't even be an option anymore." that would instantly kill Empire Earth. And if you're going to deny that fact then you actually deserve people flaming at you with toxic behaviour.

The AoC community had great banter and comradery which is why a lot of the experts talked the way they did to each other, it was in jest and simply the way we were.

The EE community on the other hand from what I remember were all a bunch of monotonous, lifeless, dead, empty Europeans who played 4v4s on a medium map because their play style of literally using the exact same civ/strats every game wouldn't have worked had the map been on large, god forbid a bit of experimentation and creativity should enter the fray, it's like a population of autists, everything had to be the same or it was deemed bad.
I lawld cuz its tr00

AoC the real shit
