Game types... Fun

Post by Draco »

So been back 4 days

Played a few hours each day

Hosting games 1v1 any sett

Guy joins and he ask for following setts

Pre-nano
Death match
Large map
20 sluts

Yes I won

Yes it was fun

Another example

Nemo was in game.

We were gonna do a 1v1v1

Dunno which settings, but would of been fun

( more people joined we did something else )

So all this crap about Indy is dead this sett is deaf bla bla bla

Wish people would take a step back 8-10 years ago. That's why the game was popular. Options for every one. U join we lobby u must play the following

P2n
Mid ah
Mod tl
Liga
Grenwars

A lot of options huh ??

See my point ?

Not saying a lot of guys here don't dabble in a little bit of everything. But when I tried to play a Indy tl 1v1, with I 5 minutes three people whisper say it's dead, and two more ask for different game

If Indy is dead why play gren wars ?

If liga / p2n are " pro " setts. How do we get new people in, and keep the boobie we have around still active?

Just try... A thought on getting more activity...

People just host the most popular setts. As for me i love all setts and I wouldn't say no to any ( probably only pre ) But more and more people seem to be coming back and fortunately they play all setts like yourself. So lets give it some time and eventually we will see a full Indy Tl game on eec and a full mod TL game on AoC simultaneously.

It is hard to teach new players. I try to be nice to most. I'll even help them if they ask, but most of the time they say no and mess up 3 or 4 4v4s by making them 3v4s. Or you get the ones who say yes, and get frustrated because they're not awesome after 45 minutes of training and end up quitting.

Also like you said there are a bunch of different settings and different tastes. I imagine a lot players do not like to lose so they try to stay in their comfort zone or they're just too lazy to learn other settings. Which is just stupid.

I agree. You don't get good at any thing unless you try.

This is mostly why I don't play often anymore. No mid dm, indy tl, or any bronze. Everybody is too addicted to mid sh and pre-space, which usually bore me.

Yea it's fun to play again. Espessically sence I am so bad right now and 90 percent of lobby can beat me

I hate being 2nd best in any thing. Back when I was " good " I was beatable, but it was rare for me to lose. When I quit back then a lot of people were beating me attacully.

Also in regards to this topic I posted, see the topic " who is slot 5 "

Perfect example of what my point is.

Even though I mostly play Liga, this is true, it would be nice if other sets were more popular this would help newcomers to feel at ease when they join they first join our lobby, since it might be quite hard for them to get used to other kind of sets like Liga or p2n, I'd say Indy or Mid, or even grenwars are actually more suited to them since all they need to do to be welcomed in people's games is learn a basic wing start and perhaps even a pocket start at a later stage.

For example, I jus got done playing Texas ranger and U in middle they won, and then I say let's play mod or liga or Indy Rey say no and then I entice them 2v1 IN ANY SETT and they turn me down and still call me a noob ? Ahahahah when I know damn well they barleybeatme at there best sett, and then can't man up and play another... That's what gonna keep EEC and AOC. Period.
