Got the game 2003, joined first clan 2004 thank you very much. If you mean played ee on a somewhat decent level, then you're right. But I did watch a ton back then as well.

I don't see why it would be somehow taboo or incorrect to say that Ras really isn't that great at SH, relatively speaking of course (he's still much better at it than 90%+ of players today)..

If he totally fucking blows then I'd agree to ras being "not so great" in SH lol. Not saying he's really good or something but I consider him pretty good, specially he's CA on pocket aren't far from the best of today's if he doesn't have to much rust. AND it's also amazing he plays alright with those civilizations! He has/had? tank attack in his knight civ or something.
Also to his credit he stopped with all the walling in 1v1's

i play sometimes. its depressing when a normal sword slut can beat most the players outright.. without even having to do anything to follow it up. played quite a few 1v1s since and so far won all of them except once, i got beaten pretty badly that time which gives me confidence theres at least a handful of higher skilled players out there i can challenge eventually.(draco im sorry u didnt make the cut)
