GR(Game Ranger) is god awful.

Game Ranger is literally the worst thing ever. The players are terrible, they all use the same strats/civs (all of their civ names are like "Royal Champions" etc.), the lagg is the worst thing of all time. It's just all around awful, while save-ee is almost identical to the old lobby. How is it possible that they have so many more players on a consistent basis? We need to market the lobby to them, I have faith most of them will flock over. Post here with your ideas of how we can accomplish this. I'm thinking something like links to the Save-EE download/The all in one patches + AoC.

Been doing all of this for 2 and a half years now.
Things that happens to them when they join lobby:
They get mad because they can not host, and arent able to open ports.
They join games and get kicked after 2 secounds.
They join a game, it starts and all their teammates either ragedrop or start flameing them. -> Leads to kick next game.

Even ppl in aVe or nF tag gets kicked...

alot of them like there cheating too much to play on lobby most know about lobby and know it will be lag free but they know they will get busted for cheating. I think epic has caught about 14 cheaters on there so far lol

No, me and epic have caught a slew of cheaters on there. One example I remember off the top of my head, 2 kids in the <~nR~[name]~nS~> clan had like 400 resources spent at the start of a liga game, with 10 citizens made, a tower up, stable/barracks, and army.

Same I haven't had any problems with cheating. The problem is all the stupid p2n games hosted on the lobby instead of mid sh. You get mid sh active on the lobby (no not liga, liga will only be home for the bests so stop trying to attract them with liga) and people once used to how the lobby works might wanna move there. You need noob friendly games and that cannot be hosted by experts it wont be the same.

Well you "caught" me too.. All I've seen on alpha-patch is 2 guys with maphack and some moron with 12+7 speed swords.
Atleast no one has cheated so much that I lost/or cared to do the math.

Expert Mid SH Large 4v4 = the best days of EE. A massive slut rush fest is really not that appealing to me, large 4v4s open up for SO many more diverse strategies.

In 4v4 Expert Mid sh, you wont be seeing anything other than slut-civs. Thats for sure, and if you think differently then your not talking about experts.

me and pelie caught 3 guys who cheated in liga but prob smurfing on some other names now. Im sure if you run through stats every game im sure you will find alot of them who cheat or using map hack

I'm not sure what you're talking about, I played in "expert" mids for my entire EE career, and it's not only slut rush, lol. That's the point of why it's way better on AoC. You see far more diverse strategies than noexp sword slut on each wing, and no exp ca slut in pocket.

Guess I was not clear. Expert players will use the strongest strategies to win. Expan is weak in 4v4, therefor will not be used by experts in a game with only experts.
HOWEVER expert players can get away with pretty much everything against lower skilled players. Expert Mid sh is just like eec Mid sh but on stupid large map size.

Kazter, I don't even know who you are, but that was a pretty ignorant statement. I played in the most "expert" of mid games for my whole EE career, and expan was widely used lol.
