EE heavily unbalanced.

EE needs to be balanced.

Towers have too low range. Mid = 5 range
They even get taken down by archjers who have higher range.

Towers should be 7 range, and 2x upgradable

Artillery, Ballista, Trebuchets are totally overpowered. Im not even gonna discuss this.

Anti-air weapons are way, waaaaaaaaaaay too weak. Once u get ur Bombers speed fully upgraded, ur bombers are completely unstoppable.
AA towers need higher range and attack or rate of fire, Flak Track also need more range and attack, and anti air ships also + range and attack.

And planes have too little fuel, its annoying. Every plane needs at least 100+, on gigantic maps they only reach the center of the map. And Anti tank planes are also useless, they need +6 range and more attack
And helicopters are a joke. They need more attack. They take too long to kill infantry or tanks

Anyone having the knowhow to change unit stats? I dont have the time, But I would help balancing if someone wants to make a patch with me

He is not wrong about the planes and maybe the halftrack is worth looking at too.

You're more reasonable than this other guy. Please explain specifically what is unbalanced with planes, and also what is unbalanced with Flak Halftracks?

He's not wrong about towers either. why does a longbow man standing on the ground have a longer range than a tower? You could have theories of that same longbowman being on top of the tower and thus should have more ranged because of height difference, or some medieval castles had balistae etc on the towers.

Will the game be more fun if it was more realistic? That's a different question.

And about the bombers, maybe build some fighters instead of ground anti air...

He IS wrong. He's asking for a balance change not to make the game more realistic. Citizen can tank many bazooka-shots, but that doesn't mean the game is imbalanced.

Wow I forgot about this thread. The halftrack is either too fragile or not powerful enough. One of the two stats could make it viable if boosted. Considering how prominent planes are in mod games it is worth looking at.

agreed but halftracks are a WW1 unit, buffing them would make them overpowered in ww1-ww2 games. I know no one plays ww1/ww2 SH but still, it doesn't change the fact that it's a WW1 unit.

The original game was actually quite balanced, probably as good as it could ever get. The mods have shifted things a bit. As for towers, you can put building range in civ for a +1 tower range. Buffing them is just going to make the game balance screwy.
