LAN saved games question

okay basically I have a group of 4 friends playing EE over LAN but one of them might need to switch computers in the middle of a game. The question I have is - if the host saves the game then they all get out of the game can the friend(a player, not the host) switch computers and rejoin the game as the same player?

If they can please say anything that may need to be done to make sure he is the same player(make the name the same or something, if it needs to be done)

This is going on as I type this btw, so I would like an answer as soon as possible, thanks in advanced!

Anybody can join a saved game from any computer, so long as their player name matches one in the save and the name isn't taken yet. This applies to both LAN and Direct Connect.
