noobs these days learn really quickly. i personally like training noobs more then somewhat experienced players for the shear fact that they will listen to everything u say, and not question or tell u that ur way is wrong. had a guy tell me that a farm at 3f11 > hunting start after i finished explaining in depth the importance of hunting.

i think animals are the best fastest way to get food mainly because you can put 20 cits on animals if you have them where farm you only get 8 and its a slower gather rate than animals are

and training people who have played for a few years and still suck is annoying because they are always stuck in their ways lol
i still try dif starts a lot after ive practiced them in sp for a while just to try and get that extra couple of units or cits

Hi. Im one of the people who recently felt a urge to play ee again, because this game is better than most rts-games. Since none of my buddies play it anymore, I looked for a community i could play with online. I found save-ee.com on the first try on google and I really loved the way the updater and lobby worked.

When i joined my first ingame-lobby i quickly understood that this lobby isnt for players who just want to play a quick game. The first I discovered were all these "codes" you guys use. 60f11, grenwar, liga etc. I thought oh well, its okey I guess.. i probably learn what it means quicky while I play. But when we started to play, people started to yell at me instantly when I did something "wrong" like not fokusing on the right res on the right time. And why on earth did I start on stone so early (or at all)?! hehe.. as you probably can imagine, those players yelling at me just gave up and quit the game. I was alone in the game after 2 minutes :p

So, the main problem newcomers face is that they have to learn to play like you before they can join without beeing kicked out of games. I must ofcourse thank Slipknot for trying to set up a game me and some other newcomers could watch, but I think most of guys like me get a little scared off when we see all the things we have to do to be accepted into the community. Maybe you could setup an own chatroom for newcomers? Then you could gradually learn us how to play it like your way (if we are interested) and invite us to professional games after a while. This initiative of yours to save ee is great (!) but if you want more players to stay, I think they need a more soft introduction

You sadly are not the only one with these problems. Most of these so called "experts" are like this these days and only focus on winning instead of having fun. And btw these guys mostly are the first to cry that new patches make the game loosing palyers and that the game is loosing players. Save-ee offers the trainign tab, the training forum etc to help new players but most work has to be done by the active players who seem to be more interested in crying about a loss of palyers instead of doing somethign about it..

u should learn the lingo and try again. 1ce u learn it players are pretty chilled. but start playing pre2 while using preist towers and every1 will drop, same with rushing in a f11 game. there are quite a decent amount of ppl willing to help u/train u depending on what age u like

I think you guys are losing players to Gameranger. I'm on there myself because my clan is there, and i find it easier to use. But i like Save EE's interface much more

I just dont think that there is enough players on gameranger , and i dont feel that the people who play there are skilled people...

played a few of games overthere, looked through there forum. ill say 1 thing. they arnt very good on support. saw 3 or so topics or ppl asking for simple error problems and no1 even helped. not to mention retarded cheating is infectious over, found 2 games of cheating out of about 5 not that they won with cheating but still they need to fix that.

i will say not all of them glitch(obviously, but pointing it out for the retards) as for the skill lvl some are decent, i havent found any terribly great players, but it was only 5 games.

what i meant was i like the fact that it is like the old EE lobby and all the features, just getting into games is a bitch

personally id rather a 10min inconvienice of getting the patch and the getting in games easy, rather then having to struggle to get games. and having the unknown certainty that there is actually any ee players online.

I joined back havent played since i was 12 (im 20 now). most people have been really cool and i have had good luck finding games and people willing to show me/teach me stuff again. Overall i'm very impressed with www.save-ee.com, the client, and the EE Ultimate package. There does seem to be a lot younger age group on here and a lot of "i'm SO much better than you" attitude. There has always been a hierarchy on the EE lobby, which has made the online business exciting, to get in with the "top dogs." "master liga" or what have you. but yeah glad to be back for the most part, playing EE that is and playing with the vets with good stuff like Indy TL, Mod TL, mod DM, liga, and indy SH.
