can't you enter through Windows's Safe Mode and try to enter the game?

safe mode should take default res which is small and force the game into it.Once in game chouse the settings, Apply and exit and come back to the normal use of windows.

Can't find any resolution settings in register, only installed from directory, volume, take jpg screenshots and usecandidatewindow. (last 2 are hex.)

I am not sure if that's the kind of freeze. The one I am talking about is usually just observed when playing a game, not when entering the settings menu. The settings however should be located in the registry. I have no Windows and no EE installation right now, but it should be a sub-key of "Sierra/Empire Earth" or "SSSI". Good luck.

And how can I do that if the game freezes if i press settings tab. Is there a cfg file somewhere?

Somewhat off-topic and very late: @lightnessking: Do you mean those Windows-10 related freezes that start right at begin or few seconds after game start, especially when trying to chat? If so, make sure your screen resolution is using 32bit color depth, not 16. E.g. 1024x768x32.

Alejo starts with 800 food and 20 citizens.
He gathered 14905 food.
14905+800=15705
In save game there is 7 fish boats, 3 tc with 5 pop, 6 capitols with 15 pop.

3tc with 5 citizens each = 15 cit
6 cap with 15 cit = 90
242 cit count-7fishboats 235
- 20 starting citizens

15+90+235-20=320 total citizens made
1 citizen cost 40
320x40=12800
320 citizens cost 12800 food

Stone cost 1122 food, copper cost 1584 food, bronze 2640 and dark 3168 food.

1122+1584+2640+3168=8514
Total cost of dark age in food is 8514.

Alejo has still has 7991 food (you can see in scenario editor).

15705-12800-8514-7991=-13600

Alejo has glitched 13600 food.
